Mazkur ish “The stylistic analysis of the use of slangs in fictions” deb nomlanib, unda jargonlarning badiiy asarlarda qo’lanilishini stilistik tahlilari muhokama etilgan. Ish tarkibiy jihatdan kirish, uch bob, xulosa va foydalanilgan adabiyotlar ro’yxatidan iborat. Ishning birinchi bobida jargonlarning terminologik xususiyatlari haqida yoritib berilgan. Ikkinchi bobda stilistik tahlilni o`rganishning umumiy muammolari tahlil etilgan. Uchinchi bob jargon so’zlarining uslubiy qatlamlari tahliliga bag’ishlangan.

this work is about the emotional side of speech. Current research work tried to determine the role and place of emotions in the language system, and consider the degree of expression of emotions in the language, consider the emotional function of the word, to produce a continuous sample of vocabulary expressing emotions in the work of D. Dumoree “Jamaica Tavern” to determine which language tools are used to express emotions to classify emotions according to their types. Here we can see several methods like, method of analysis of scientific literature, descriptive method, and comparative method. This works shows that the main sources of expressive emotions are lexemes. After analyzing the work "Tavern" Jamaica ", we have considered examples where the lexeme is a different part of speech.

English has been replacing Russian as the most important foreign language in Uzbekistan since around 1991, especially after 2012, a facilitating factor being the growing perception that knowing English can increase one’s economic and social mobility. As Uzbekistan opens up with the four modernisations in the 1991s, entry into the United Nations Organisation in 2002, learning English has become more important and popular in Uzbekistan.

Presented graduation paper deals with the issue of using authentic video materials in mastering lexical materials and enhancing vocabulary in teaching English vocabulary. Theoretical part of the work describes general background of the terms vocabulary itself and authentic videos, particularly authentic video materials in language teaching. The purpose of the research is to show the effect of using authentic video materials as a method of teaching lexical materials in order to improve students’ vocabulary learning. Practical part of the work discusses the usage and the ways of implementation of authentic video materials into teaching and developing language skills as well as language aspects such as vocabulary.

Suffixation is one of the most productive means in the process of enriching and widening of the word stock of English language. Determining the functional status of suffixation, as well as certain types of suffixes; suggesting multi-sided classification of suffixes based on structural, semantic, etymological, stylistic and functional features of suffixes; presenting basic models of suffixational lexemes; showing asymmetric peculiarities of certain types of suffixes are disclosed and productivity and non-productivity of suffixes; working out an effective technology, including a system of exercises of teaching word creation ways to the learners of English is the key purpose of this dissertation. I also tried to present some ways of translation issues of suffixes from English into Uzbek and vice-versa; the foremost technology of teaching the theme word creation (suffixes) to the learners of English as a second language.

In accordance with the new structure of the education system, “The eight-year compulsory education was extended to nine years; ten-year secondary schools were divided into nine –year general education and three years of secondary specialized education. The positive sight of this reform was that the pupils of secondary schools were given an opportunity to choose between pursuing an academic study and a vocational training after nine-year compulsory education. For this purpose, Academic Lyceums and Professional Colleges were set up, the former probing a deeper study of science, economics or law, preparing the deeper study for the university; and the latter enabling them to continue studying the subjects of general education, at the same time obtained a profession. Higher Education also became two stages baccalaureate and magistracy, which open way to university institutions – post-graduate or doctoral studies”.

The dissertation research is devoted to the identification and systematization of the means of expression of the functional-semantic category of personality in the English and Russian languages. In the first chapter were given analysis on the development of field theory based on materials of works of different linguists and typologists. The second chapter is dedicated to the means of expressing of functional semantic micro field of grammatical person on materials of English and Russian languages. The last chapter is linked with teaching and an attempt to form a lesson plan based vocabulary teaching through semantic field was done. In conclusion part, all the results were analyzed.

Dissertatsiya ishining dastlabki bobida Alisher Navoiy hayoti va ijodi, uning turkiy adabiyotga qo’shgan hissasi keng yoritilgan bo’lsa, ikkinchi bobda g’azallarining sharxlash tarixi va ularning tarjimalari haqida so’z ketgan. Ishnng asosiy uchinchi bobida esa g’azallarning nasriy bayonlari va ularning sharx va izohlarini ikki til, ya’ni ingliz va o’zbek tillaridagi variantlarini yaratishdagi muammolar yoritilgan.

Shunday ekan ushbu tadqiqot ishida ham ingliz tilini o’qitishda avvolo muhim bo’lgan til ko’nikmasi “tinglab tushunish”ning rivojlantirishning turli xil hamda innovattsion usullari ko’rsatib o’tilgan. Qolaversa shuni ham aytib o’tish kerakki, ingliz tilini o’rganishda til ko’nikmalaridan tinglab tushunish asosiy o’rinni egallaydi. Ushbu ilmiy ishda ham asosiy e’tibor tinglovchining tinglab tushunish davomida kelib chiqadigan muammolarini toppish hamda bu muammolarning yechimini hal etishga qaratilgan. Hamda o’quvchilarning tinglab tushundagi qobilyatlarini rivojlantirishga yordam beradigan turli xil usullar keltirib o’tilgan.

The aim of this study is to investigate the usage of Communicative Language Teaching (CLA) by Uzbek primary school teachers of English. It employs a case study approach in order to explore the extent to which CLA is compatible with the Uzbek EFL context at elementary level. For data collection interview and after observation interviews were conducted. The lessons of eight EFL teachers of state specialized secondary school #1 were observed during 2 weeks. These problems are miscomprehension and strong attachment to traditional methods. The prevalence of these problems confirms that there is a need to understand CLA.

This dissertation discusses the limitations of translating from Uzbek into English and vice versa in one area of what has been termed General pragmatics or Language in Use. The main purpose of this work is to define and explain the meaning of this term, and why we need it. The research explored comparative method in both finding the theory and suitable examples. The finding of the research shows the impact of pragmatics in real life conversation. While socializing people really need pragmatic meaning for understanding speaker’s attitude, feeling and thoughts. Theoretical contributions and practical implications are presented by phraseological units, ideoms and authentic dialogues, and drew a conclusion, opposite meaning of semantics argued as pragmatics.
