This work is about Metaphysical poets do some researches in Modern English. However, this theme of the research has not been investigated as a graduate qualification paper yet. The aim of the research. Firstly, to investigate English literature, its representatives and their works, their contribution to the English literature. Secondly, to give methodical recommendations on the theme of our graduate qualification paper.

This work is represented by the fact that intercultural competence is now one of the specific goals in lifelong learning and is understood as a part of one of the key social competences. Intercultural competence will help learners deal with current states of diversity and globalization as it may be defined as complex abilities that are required to perform effectively and appropriately when interacting with others who are linguistically and culturally different.

World is changing very fast and many people are becoming too intelligent that traditional ways of teaching is already counted as an old methods of teaching. Everyday many teachers search the internet, magazines and books in order to find new activities and exercises and try to exploit them into their classroom but there are countless tasks which you can use them in any lesson. However most of them are mixed and teachers have some problems to adapt them into their classes. The qualification work below tries to illustrate the problem and gives some solutions to handle it.

The qualification work is to investigate the theoretical researches on teaching phonology in language skills and through data analysis to explore the methods of teaching pronunciation that can be applied in Uzbek context. The novelty of doing research on teaching pronunciation considering the works of well-known methodologists’ works stems from the fact that by investigating their works we will explore the methods of teaching pronunciation which are suitable applying in Uzbek context. These methods have been analyzed several times and been chosen to use. However, our investigation is based on cultural, characteristics and age issues of teaching a second language, and this will the novelty of this work.

The current gradual qualification work is devoted to implementing modes of interaction techniques in developing vocabulary. It consists of three chapters with three subchapters in each. Chapter I is devoted to the theoretical basis of teaching and learning vocabulary and its particular features. The peculiarities of developing vocabulary through CLT method and the role of interactive pedagogical technologies in communicative classes are discussed clearly.

Process of studying a foreign language promotes the formation of creative independence as there is a possibility of teaching modern methods and exercises within the limits of the given subject which demands independent work from pupils. They are taught to use a language material for expression of their thoughts in a dialogical speech. Teaching English can and should provide the achievement of practical, educational and developing aims.

The diploma work is dedicated to `Importance of learning English through children`s liratures`, it investigates the importance of teaching English to learners through children`s literatures, types of it, stylistic approach and solutions to problems. The work consists of introduction, main body including ten parts, a conclusion and bibliography.

The graduation paper on "Relationship of EFL learners` attitudes and Intercultural Communicative Competence in EFL classes" is devoted to the formation of English learners` communicative competence, the development of their communicative competence by training them the culture of the target language in teaching process and applying them in EFL classes. The work consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion and the list of reference. In introduction there can be found facts about the distinctive features of the work and teaching foreign languages and developing teaching in our republic. In the first chapter the innovative methods of the development of teaching EFL, its history and practical examples; in the second chapter forming EFL learners` communicative competence; in the third chapter the ways how to put the main problem of graduation work into practice , techniques are illuminated and general conclusions are given. In concusion part all the facts are gathered and summarized.

In this research, the subjects like the theoritical basics of using historical methods in teachin foreign languages, the appearance and the development of historical methods, the methodologic analysis of using The Direct methods, the modern requirements of teaching foreign languages using innovative methods are analysed. Furthermore, the methodical basics of employing innovative methods in teaching foreign languages, the appearance and development stages of communicative methodology, the methodologic analysis of using translation methods, the appearance and practical usage of translation methods in the history of teaching, the points concerning the practicality of these methods are researched and concluded.

This diploma work offers a much-needed discussion of the use of interactive whiteboards in English teaching. This diploma work provides comprehensive information on the advantages and disadvantages of implementing this technology in ELF classes to improve the quality of education and improve learning environments. The main purpose of this diploma is to develop learners` reading skills by integrating other skills and technologies. The tasks of the work are to study, analyze, and sum up the benefits and challenges of using IWB in EFL classes.

New developments and trends in education gained importance to professional development of teachers and use of new methods to teach the target language which can encourage the teachers to try new techniques in EFL classes. Audio book is one of the best technological innovations and it can be a good chance to improve reading and writing skills of learners in foreign language classes. There are lots of advantages of using audio books in language classes. Audio books provide learners opportunities to increase active listening and critical thinking skills, which are vital for reading comprehension. In my diploma work I try to find out the contribution of audio books to reading and listening skills.

In the article some poetry translating problems in comparative and contrastive aspects are revealed. Translator’s skills in Uzbek poetry genre are with due account taken of philosophical seriousness, composition, conditional and epic characters, specific features of images, language simplicity, intonation and author`s manner. The Uzbek poetry of the seventies-eighties of the 20th century represented by its brilliant poet such as Abdullah Oripov in its original language and four translations into Russian which are analyzed and compared in the aspect of “form and content”.
