This research was designed to investigate the main issues of teaching intercultural communication in EFL classrooms via multimedia technologies. Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly frequent for language teachers to incorporate new teaching and learning approaches into their classroom practice, including the use of computer technology.

The present dissertation deals with “Role of phraseology in developing intercultural ommunication.” and practical language use.

The research work we concluded that in order to produce adequate translation of documents in the sphere of logistics and supply chain management, the translator needs a range of professional qualities; extensive background knowledge, solid experience, and access to adequate tools. A translation strategy is imperative. Research work we tried to apply to different approaches and the methods of translation through the translation of passages and analysis of them. We used the most popular and frequent methods of translation, such as word for word, descriptive, meaning to meaning, calque, faithful, adequate and different transformations such as additions, substitutions and etc.

The present manual is designed to the second-third-year student s of the universities of the Republic o f Uzbekistan whose profession is translation. It includes texts, exerc ises and other assignments t o develop the students’ translation s k ills from English into Uzbek and Russian and from them into English.

Language (Speech) is divided to certain strata or levels. The linguists distinguish basic and non - basic (sometimes they term them differently: primary and secondary) levels. This distinction depends on whether a level has got its own unit or not. If a level has its own unit then this level is qualified as basic or primary. If a level doesn`t have a unit of its own then it is a non - basic or secondary level.
