In this article are determined appearance and developing of Modem approaches in English language teaching, the role of instructional materials Communicative Language Teaching in modem approaches in English Language Teaching, the main aspects of Communicative Language Teaching English in secondary schools in Uzbekistan, methods and types of modern approaches in English language teaching, advantages and disadvantages of modem approaches of English language teaching.
The usage of modern approaches in English language teaching in secondary schools, implementation of glossaries, handouts and storytelling in pupils of secondary schools, classroom activities used in Communicative Language Teaching of type of modern approaches of English language teachingare analyzed in this work.
