In the course of the research various grammar books were analyzed and studied. The qualification paper contains information related to the English syntax and the main clause types of English language. In the research we defined the importance of clauses that perform bearer of message, the role of complex sentences, various types of clauses in expanding message and that create valid communication.

This qualification work is devoted to compare and contrast Christopher Marlowe`s Doctor Faustus and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe`s Faust, using biographical and historical information to show external influences on each work. When the Renaissance came to northern Europe, Faust was made into a symbol of free thought, anti-clericalism, and opposition to Church dogma. The first important literary treatment of the legend was that of the English dramatist, Christopher Marlowe.

The motivation of learners of English varies. Some people need English for their work, some for travelling, some are interested in the culture of English-speaking countries, and there is a large group of learners that have to study English as a part of their school curriculum. The process of English language learning comprises of acquiring vocabulary, grammatical rules, correct pronunciation, etc. This thesis concentrates chiefly on teaching and learning English grammar through on-line applications.

A large and growing body of studies has investigated how learners can most successfully acquire a second language, which has helped teachers to develop ideas about how to teach grammar. However, with the quantity of published research increasing annually, it is often difficult for teachers to judge which method is most beneficial for their students.

In analyzing and reviewing coursebooks and other relevant materials on the English grammar we noticed that in most cases the structure of English clauses was not the object of study of grammarians and linguists. Thus the present qualification is the first attempt to define structural characteristics of clauses in the English language. In addition we reviewed and defined the role of auxiliaries in forming clauses, the types of clause subordination and coordination and the structure of basic clauses of the English language.

The author of the investigation made a survey on the problem and on the basis of gotten material worked out the project of developing cross-cultural competence.

The given qualification work is dedicated to the problem of how to motivate students in teaching English and will focus on the use of motivational strategies in developing language learners’ aptitude in learning English.

This qualification paper is dedicated to the problem of teaching reading and some instructional enhancements to implicit the reading skills for students, especially to the types of methods of teaching foreign language. The qualification work deals to investigate the using of materials for extensive and intensive reading during the language teaching lessons and differentiate their replacement in language acquisition.

Debate is a teaching strategy to improve verbal communication and critical-thinking skills. Debate is presented as a valuable learning activity for teaching critical thinking and improving communication skills. Debating is an effective pedagogical strategy because of the level of responsibility for learning and active involvement required by all student debaters. This strategy can involve all students to be active, not only debate performer.

The problem of synonyms is one of the main difficult ones for the English language learners. It can be most clearly seen in the colloquial layer of a language, which, in its turn at high degree is supported by development of modern informational technologies and simplification of alive speech. As a result, a great number of new meanings of one and the same word appear in our vocabulary.

This theme seems as very actual and required by the following reasons. The first reason is traditional in its character: articles are used to be considered as the denotation of intellectuality of a speaker of English. So if we want to prepare the educational learners of English we should take into account this part of the English grammar. So the second reason of actuality of our work lies in the difficulties in practical usage of articles by foreign students caused by the non-existence of the latter in native language. It concerns both Uzbek and Russian learners at the same degree. Another one reason of my choice is adequate by my personal interest in this problem and I have some proposals which I would like to show in my qualification work

The qualification work is dedicated to the problem of borrowed words, their role in the formation of Modern English, specific features of using borrowed words in spoken and written speech. Borrowing as means of replenishing the vocabulary of present-day Uzbek is of much greater importance and is comparatively active only in the field of scientific terminology and social-political terminology as many terms are often made up of borrowed morphemes, mostly morphemes from classical languages.

Несмотря на это, нельзя сказать о слабой теоретико-методической проработке данного феномена. В современном научно-педагогическом информационном поле представлены различные подходы к трактовке данного понятия: методологический, мировоззренческий, психологический, социологический, лингвистический, искусствоведческий, адаптивный, духовный, что объяснимо взаимопроникновением научных знаний из одной области в другую
